One from this morning. It's rare to find one in the swamps with such a clean back drop.

Very loverley. The bird is so sweet, the light so soft, the branch perfect, but my favorites are the three little leaves... Also a plus, the perch entering from the corner.

Excellent image, David. No nits from me. I really like the perch.
David, this is just super....I gotta get to south La soon
Hey David, I forgot to ask. Did you use a tape to bring this bird in or did you just get lucky?
Thanks and later and love, artie
Particularly like the bg for this bird They are difficult to obtain Also love the perch !!! Big Congrats !!!
I like everything about this one! I agree about the background, I have yet to find one in a nice clean background. Very well done!
that is one awesome image!! he looks like grandpa munster!!:D
David, this is probably the best static image of a Barred I have seen, fantastic !!!
Thanks for the input guys. I just got lucky finding this one along a small slough in the swamp,,,,,,, no calls to lure it in. Not that I'm against that! ;)
Thanks for the info David. Barred Owls often respond well to tapes. No matter what, you could not have gotten him on a better perch. later and love, artie
This one sure is nice!
