You have to love the giant reflector snow provides for our flight shots in the winter. Just can't be beat for soft underside detail as shown here.
Love the tucked feet, and the graduations of color and texture.
Sharpening is just on the edge of too much for my tastes.
Only other thought would be: in a perfect world, would like the head to be clear of the far wing.

All that snow you've been getting is certainly good for something. Randy's good comments noted, but this is still a beauty of a shot. Love the colors and great head angle.

Wow....I typically don't like the overhead shots that much but this one is marvelous! I love the talons and the wonderful colors on the bird. I agree with Randy above....great ideas. Thanks.
