Yikes! I just realized it has been more than a week since I posted here it OOTB. Sorry for slacking off. Here is one from yesterday at my winter songbird set-up in the backyard. I am having a difficult time with this image. I love the chickadee's position and wing blur, but hate that the perch moved and blurred when this little fella took flight.
that chickadee must have a wingspan of about 2 feet:). very cool photo and hard to get.

Andrew, I like this a lot. I think you did a great job getting this quick little one in the frame-let alone pleasingly blurred. Great job!:) I think the slightly blurred perch matches the rest of the image and is fine.

Andrew, I think this is really nice and the perch doesn't bother me at all. I think that just a touch of sharpness to the eye would put this one over the top. Very nice! :D

Another nice blur, Andrew. I like fanned wing blur. Nice colors and bg. The perch looks good to me. A bit more definition of the eye would have made this a killer image. TFS.

I also agree with Kerry about sharpening just the eye and not all the way - just a slight blur to it so it looks like it belongs but then gives our eye a resting place. No worries about the branch - it does belong in the image as is. Beautiful wing blur on this one...well done!

Andrew.
I concur...... a wonderful image. These guys are small, you did well to get him that tight in the frame. great job!

Hey Andrew,
Agree with suggestions above regarding the eye.....and I would consider cropping out the brighter area at the top of the frame (you know me and the crop tool).....for me the pano emphasizes the wings even more. Still and excellent job and very nicely executed!
