Taken on a recent walk through the woods. Too much PP to recount..............basically, very low key with some glow and light balancing.

I just re-calibrated my monitor and everything looks a bit off...............trying a re-post
Jay, This appeals to me very much. The earth tones and the comp. are very pleasing. It lookls like a slight glow/Orton was applied which I like. I might try to darken some of the lighter areas around the leaves just a teeny bit in a couple of places. Well done.
I'm glad you reposted - I felt the leaf on the left was a tiny bit dark compared to the other leaf...now it feels more balanced. I like this one very much as is but wonder if the lighter areas aren't leaning a bit towards the blue side? Can you pull that out without throwing off everything else?
You have a good eye to see an image in dead leaves. I like the simple arrangement.
Thanks folks, good feedback..........................here it is with less light areas around the leaves, and no blue tint in the whites................let me know if this works better...............
it's hard to tell from here since I'm not always sure how the Adobe RGB translates to sRGB on the post. It looks like there is still some blue in the sRGB repost, that is not present on Adobe RGB that my screen is calibrated on..................I still see some light areas around the right side of the leaf that I can't see on my monitor........drives me nuts! :). Will fix.
I have been working on this, off and on, for a while. I just revisited the original image, and realized how many changes I made. Disclosure is good for the sole.........:) Here is the original...it's way further than I normally go, but I was determined to get something out of this image. The image was a bit overexposed to get good shadow detail. The scene was more dark than this image shows.
Very nice creative image, love the last repost...being able to see art in simle things is a gift...well done
Jay, this is excellent. I like your final repost. Best part of it is that you are taking something ordinary and able to visualize the effect artistically. I like the lighting effect and the colors.
Paul and Indranil,
Thank you for the kind feedback.
CONGRATULATIONS number 2!!!
Love this image! The original is composed nicely, and your post processing, with a little help from your friends, turned it into a gorgeous image! Glorious colors and light. Excellent.
I forgot to thank you for posting the pre-pp image. Very helpful and inspirational.
