I don't see how I could possibly improve on this. It is beautiful. The original photo is wonderful with great motion in the wings and what I would call a perfect head angle. I love the colors and swirls of the background and the way you maintained all of the detail in the bird.
Beautiful work, Gus. I love the pose, colors, and high-key look. Initially I was thinking it might look better with the hummingbird moved down a little, but on reflection I like it as is. Well done!
