40D. 400 f5.6L. f/11. iso 320. Some minor cloning. Color is natural. Let me know what you think. I'll also post the wider crop that is close to full frame and no cloning in it. a little underexposed as I did not dial in the right exp. comp. Cold mornings do that to me :-)
Thx for looking. All C&C welcome.

You might wonder why I didn't point the lens to the left. BG wasn't so nice and lots of cobwebs on the reeds.
I love the simplicity of this and the varying shades of neutral colors as they fade towards the back. I prefer the first image. That one horizontal line on the left really anchors it altogether.

Nancy, I also like the first one. I posted the second to see if folks have better ideas on cropping.

Beautiful composition. I like the painting like effect. First crop works for me.

Very nice, although I prefer the original because it has more of a begining and an ending with subtle objects at both ends.
You came up with my motto. "Simplicity is akin to Elegance"
Well done.

Kaustaubh, this is so "zen". I love it! I think you picked the right place to crop...it feels very balanced and still very ROT's. I like that one end feels "heavier" than the other. Oh so beautiful and serene...
