This is another from my backyard set-up. The gold bark on the branch might be a little distracting. All C&Cs are appreciated.

Pretty bird and gorgeous background. I would crop about half between the tail and the edge just to see what that might look like -- should bring the bird off center a bit and there there is not much on thar right side.
I like to see a nuthacth in a pose other than the typical "head down on a trunk" (although I like those too). Nice perch again, and good BG. With this HA I would have preferred to have the body more parallel to us. I also find the lighting uneven on the bird with a "spotlight" effect on the face and upper chest and with the lower body needing some fill-flash or a bit of dodging in PP.
You're having alot of fun in your backyard...keep it up, I'm enjoying your images:cool:
Excellent bird image and background.
Oh My... what a cute bird.. Settings one would die for.. lovely piece of image.

I don't mind the light, but the perch is not for me, sorry Jim, even you kind of mentioned. The pose of the nuthatch is good, the details sharp and plenty. Lovely work! :)
Jim, I find the perch quite interesting with all the curves and knots. Good to see the different layers of colours on the nuthatch, and another great BG from your set up.
I like the bends and curves in the perch nice pose and beautiful bg.... Well Done!!!!
