It's been a while since I posted a space bird, so I thought I would do one tonight.
I started with a white-tailed kite against a blue sky then applied the PS "Render - Len Flare" filter. I used Topaz Denoise and then Topaz Clean for the simplified look. Took the result into Topaz Adjust starting with the "midnight" preset to get the dark colors and strange light effect on the kite. Last step was to apply a vignette, which I made into a frame.

Could I be honest and say I am not keen on the pink? :o Such an unmanly color for ya Kerry. :) I love the image though, great pose on the kite and the PP (except PINK) is super! :) Thanks for sharing mate.

Kerry, I like pink! :) Go figure! I think this is wild and crazy. The one bright tiny dot of the lens flare I would evict if it were mine. Very cosmic and cool!

Hey Kerry, I love it. I think I would remove the brightest spot also.

This is wild, Kerry! :) Love the out-of-this-world colors! I don't mind the pink as it goes well with the blue of the sky. Great pose on the bird.

Thanks everyone. A word in defense of that bright spot... If you think in three dimensions and view the round elements as spheres, that spot is a highlight on the surface of that sphere and adds to the illusion of 3D.
