This was a very difficult week to judge - there were so many wonderful images and so many different styles it was not easy to sort out. Thanks to everyone for posting and sharing your visions.:)
1st - Canada Geese at Sunset, Nancy Bell
I loved the soft, earthy colors and the perfect amount of blur. It had a very peaceful, reassuring feel
to it like everything was right with the world. Nicely done, Nancy:)
2nd - Bright Mum, Christopher Miller
Beautiful colors and I liked the use of selective color which added to the image. Beautifully applied
Orton treatment. Nicely done, Christopher.
3rd - Dahlia 8, Anita Bower
I loved the perspective and composition and soft textures. Beautiful work, Anita
4th - Hibiscus in Pink, Mark Fuge
I liked the lovely soft salmon colors and the textures that were applied. Mark, one of your best.
5th (Tie) - Warm Autumn Night on the Mississipi and Lotus Blossom Glow (repost), Jay Sheinfeld
2 different images, both with strong colors contrasting with a soft focus. I loved the lighting on both.
Nice work, Jay.
