An impressive looking fellow. Love his varied colors, detail in darker feathers on the body with their white trim, feet out, neck extended.
He would have shown a bit better if not against the tree in the BG, but DOF has helped somewhat with isolation from the tree.
Normally the partial merge of head and wing would be less than ideal, but the difference in colors helps with the separation.
Cheers

Wow Austin great landing pose extended talons and neck. I like the background and colour detail and sharpness on the vulture. If it were mine I would lighten the vulture a little to get more detail underwing.Great capture.
What vulture is this.?

Way cool pose and sharpness. As presented, a crop from the bottom would be in order as there is simply to much plain BKGR below pulling the viewer's eye.
Did you get the next one or two sharp with the bird against the grasses?

Very impressive as mentioned already. I love the pose and anticipation of the landing. Your timing is superb mate. Well done. :)

Austin,
I think this could stand a little lightening, but you know the lighting conditions at the time.
Artie's crop suggestion sounds good to me.

Austin, separated nicely from the BG, and good show of the underwings. I like the extended neck, and that we can see the left foot nicely. I still need to get one of these in flight.
