This semipalmated plover (I think!) was standing in a calm pool early one morning at Estero. Cloned out a little exposed mud just left of the plover. All C & C appreciated!

Wow...nice and clean reflection shot...with superb pose. Exposure looks very good and perfect angle for the reflection.
Lovely reflection, nice composition.
Very nice pose Mike. Great reflection and awesome eye contact.
Very nice Mike. The reflection looks great and I love the subtle shadow. It looks like you might have cleaned up a second catchlight and spot on the bill on the bird itself (flash?) but missed it on the reflection.
Beautiful reflection, and the higher angle took advantage of that. Original vertical?
Thanks to all for the feedback. Daniel, the shot is a vertical crop from a horizontal image. And, Jeff, you have a very sharp eye! You are exactly right about the two spots on the reflection. Thanks for pointing them out--it never crossed my mind!
Can't help with species but gorgeous pose and reflection. Very powerful image for me. :)
Very sweet pose and the reflection really adds to this.
Sweet image! lovely work done here. And yes, the double catch light on the eye can be fixed! Other than that a wonderul image. Did you shoot this one in vertical orientation also?
