This monument on Rev. Teasdale's grave is located in historic Friendship Cemetery in Columbus MS, my home town. It is one of the most photographed monuments in MS. Teasdale was a beloved minister at First Baptist Church many years ago and it was said that the angels wept when he died.
I used the Topaz Adjust night setting as I wanted it to appear to be taken late in the day. Then I used 5 textures, soft light and multiply blend modes. One was an edge overlay and then I added a PhotoFrame dark edge with lowered opacity.

Hi Judy, I like the subject and the nice antique look you gave it. Good use of textures and filters to get the effect. Images that tell a story are always the best, IMO. Could it use a slight CCW rotation?

Judy, Very nice statue and image. The aging adds to this one. I do wish the lighting had been more even on the subject but this is still very appealing. I like the thin vignette frame.

Hi Judy, Very moving image. The rather dark treatment adds a lot to the feel. Excellent texturizing and aging. Well done!

Thanks everyone! Kerry, it doesn't look like it needs a rotation to me, looking at the tombstones in the background, the tops look straight to me.
Denise, yes I shot it mid-day on a sunny day. One of these days I'll shoot it on an overcast day for even lighting.
It looks a bit dark, maybe I overdid it a bit with the darker textures.
