I clipped the lower wing and used this image as an excercise to see if I can replace it. I'd rather not do something like this and I don't think it's wrong to do it...I just like to see if I can because I'm still trying to learn what Photoshop can do "just in case". I repaired one feather and removed part of the one growing back in so it doesn't look like the upper wing (I wish I had a frame of the lower wing from this day but I don't).

Love the colors, feather detail. Exposure is spot on. Nesting materials make it much more interesting than the typical bald eagle flight shot.

Lovely pose here and great job on the repair. I would never have known had you know divulged it. Your exposure right on. I see a slight halo around the top of the wings. Light was gorgeous here and the nesting material a nice touch.
