Couldn't resist taking the eye into Pixel Bender - Droste (Brazilian Rhino influence :) ) and then masked the eye and filtered the rest with PB-Oil plus a Frac layer and a second PB-Oil. Various blend modes and final adjustments in LR.

The effect in the eye is very interesting! I haven't tried Droste so I don't know what all it does. I like the colors too, well done!

Judy, sorry I forgot to mention in the OP that I also did a polar coordinates (rec-180 flip-cir) after the Droste. The Droste is an additional download from the Adobe Pixel Bender sharing site and when using it, I went to the bottom of the variable sliders/check boxes and picked the one that deals with a fractal effect. Lots of variables to play with :) My avatar is partly from the same process plus others in PB. I'm thinking this could be an interesting way to make some delicious artificial flowers/gardens. :D
