Very interesting and creative Jan. One heck of a shot.
What a wonderful capture. Nice detail and colours. I really like the long shadow in this image -- makes for a very interesting shot.
Well done.
Yes I like it too - the shadow adds an interesting element. I appreciate the colours are due to the time of day, and you may like them as they are but I would be curious to see the image without it having a yellow cast - just for curiosity.
Great job keeping focus. Looks a tad yellow to me.
Love the heads up flight posture, the sharpness, and the shadow is killer. Did you have more room in front (or behind)?
Man that shadow is something we really don't see often on flying birds! Lovely colours and warm light. My eye took a while to spot the grass strand (?) at upper edge, but once it did it kept going there. A small distraction on an otherwise killer image!!
Hi Jan excellent capture these guys are so quick. Nice creative composition with the shadow and very sharp. I am still looking to get flight shots of any bee-eater.
Exceptional image Jan. Love the pose and the shadow. Dan spoiled my view with the dang grass. ;)
This image and composition is striking and offers something really extra about the image. I am getting a little bored with "perfect" portraits with "perfect" HA's etc. This has another level of dynamism. Only wish for a better front wing angle ( I know I want a "perfect" wing position :D )
cheers

Sorry that we are boring you here.
