A common Aussie species, but not an easy subject. Sometimes one gets lucky to get a close pass. If you think something looks odd with this image, please let me know.

Hey Bro, the vertical comp suits the flight posture, and I like the detail. Your +2/3 EC looks spot on to me, any more and you may have gone overboard. Good eye contact too.

Judging by the forehead +2/3 was enough without starting to blowing parts of the head. It is fill-flash that was needed to light the underwings. I still like it though...the backlighting on the overlapping flight and tail feathers look neat. I just find the image looks smoothed out a bit as if NR was applied on the subject. I could be wrong, but thats the impression I get.

Looks absolutely great to me but since you raised the subject - are those chest feathers a little too smooth?

I like the eye contact and the banking pose. I see a dust bunny upper right of top wing and is this back lit or am I seeing a halo from bringing out the shadows?

Lovely pose Akos! The vibrant colour of the eye looks great, as does the pose and details in the bird.
There does seem to be a light halo around the bird, most notably behind the trailing edge of the wings.
