The Masai Mara is so full of sightings that one gets the chance to experiment with all types of shots. Here is a b&w conversion of a maribou stork flying in to feed on a carcass.
I'm experimenting a bit with my photography at the moment and would appreciate your comments and advice.

Definitely like this one Stephen! The intentional blur works quite well; placement of the bird below the herd of zebras is key. Feels a little tight overall. And I would tone down the face and the legs. I plan on doing some in-camera experimenting at the Bosque this year, where as in the Masai Mara sightings are plentiful. Look forward to more of your experiments!

Effective image. Very "African" despite the desaturated colours. I love the included zebras.
P.S. I moved your image the OOTB as this is the forum most appropriate for this image:cool:.
Good job!

Stephen, Very nicely done. I like the BG zebra pattern and the B&W looks good. I might tone down the legs and feet also as Doug suggested.

Beautifully done, Stephen. Just enough blur on the wings. I too like the zebra pattern in bg. Another vote to tone down the face and feet. TFS.
