Photographed this hawk during the early morning this past weekend. I did clone the right eye and move it to the left. Also removed the leg bands. Thanks for looking.

Hi Dan. I like the position of the tail feathers and how they are fanned out behind the legs. I also like the wing spread with the tips up.
Thanks Julie!
Dan - I'll second Julie's comment - the tail in this shot looks great! Cloned or not, those piercing eyes really pop.
Thanks Jeff. I was hoping the clone job did not look obvious.
Very nice image Dan. Killer look/
Thanks Sid!
Phew, amazing PS work with the eyes.
Loved the position of the tail.
In addition to what the others have said, I love the overall color scheme here. Beautiful image.
Dan, great capture. Love the vegetation across the bottom. Thanks for disclosing the Photoshop work and a good job as I never would have known it!
Cheers,
Greg Basco
Thanks!
Dan, you nailed this. I like the eye contact, and the angle of approach. Good show of the wingspan, and fanned tail, and just love the light and colours.
Dan, Awesome head on shot! I like the grasses on the bottom and I appreciate the disclosure also. Great looking work-I would never of known.
I was gonna right "talk about sharp on the eyes" but after reading more carefully I will say, "talk about sharp on the eye times two." I love the angled flight. It looks as if I am the only one wondering if it is too yellow....
like the posture and great eye contact in lovely light
Thanks again for the comments. I could take a little yellow out. But the light was pretty nice that morning!
