Tried my hand at something different. Any comments appreciated.

Stephen, I can't help but saw WOW! Fantastic shot. The pano crop and soft gradient color tones in the BG make this lovely. I like seeing the adult clearly and surrounded by her young, very nice image.

Wow! What a WOW image, Stephen! :) The pano composition with the cheetahs looking across the sweeping vista is simply stunning, and the vintage color tones take it over the top. Very well done!

Super image Stephen! I hope you try something different more often and show us the results. This is beautiful on all fronts and I really appreciate your sharing of it here. Love the intimate family scene, the vast expanse of natural element, and the perfect toning. The pano aspect is super.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I've mentioned elsewhere that we had the absolute priveledge of following a mother cheetah and her six cubs for a week while in the Masai Mara.

On this particular day they all decided to climb this tree and they stayed in it for quite a while. We got to work the scene for more than half an hour so I tried every shot I could imagine.

Somehow these soft tones and the conversion manages to convey the story and feel of the Masai Mara.
