Anhinga won't share tree with Osprey. Canon 1D Mark IV, 500F4L IS,F4mm, 1/8000sec Iso 400
I like everything about this including the strong silhouette effect and the sky color and the interaction. If you had been a bit luckier the Anhinga would have been farther away from you than the Osprey the Anhinga's head and neck would have been angled towards you rather than slightly away.
very nice image. I love the situation and the lighting here.
Artie, the Anhinga is diretcly facing at us.....
Beautiful silhouette. I would like a bit more saturation in the Bg , but that's just my take on this fine image.
Jan, with all due respect, it seems that you are looking at a different image. Perhaps the Osprey is the closer bird and perhaps the Anhinga is looking slightly this way rather than slightly away--silhouettes can be tricky that way, but in no way is the Anhinga looking at us. If it were, we would not see the bill..... In any case, what I would like is to have seen is the Anhinga's head square to the back of Layton's camera :)
Nice image with clean and sharp lines and good colours. Looking at the stem I feel it may need a slight clockwise rotation.
yes Artie, that's right, sorry. I just wanted to say that it wasn't facing away :)
