Love the bird and the front end VERT framing. The bird is a worn juvie. The shadow is mildly distracting, the dark shadows more so. Had you been flat on the ground much of that might have been avoided. EXP and sharpness excellent as expected from you.
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">Artie, glad you liked the bird. I have been preoccupied and I *only* noticed the bird. I cleaned up the background and blurred it.
No need to stay the repost is better - just treat it as an original.

Much better and very sweet. The funkiness by the legs is a big problem. I would go back to the ORIG and bring back the legs and maybe a bit of the dark stuff and play around with that... Wow, I just took a second look at the ORIG; you did quite well with the edges but there is a smudge along the lower breast. The funny thing is that though folks would think otherwise, I have never done anything as extreme as this (at least anything that I can remember) :)
I plan to get rid of that smudge. FOr the short term, I think I will crop to just above the knee joint. That gets rid of *some* of the leg funkiness.
Recommended that you do not go with the tighter crop idea :) It would be too cramped down there.
