Nice bird, pose and head angle and you did well in less than ideal light--somewhat harsh and uneven. Does not the shadow on the neck with the blue cast as well as the bright WHITEs on the neck bother anyone else ? :)

The shadow and bright whites certainly bothered me , and I have only just noticed the blue cast, it is more apparent on the JPEG and I am using a lousy monitor here in UK. But for me it is not to bad;)
Glad that it bothered someone besides me:) But as I said above, there are lots of good things about the image.
