Hi Dumay,
Excellent image, with sharp well focused and exposed bird, and no noise in the sky. Good head and wing angle. I would prefer a less tight crop, with more room to the left, for the bird to fly into.
Richard
Hey mate, good wing position, and overall well exposed. Good detail in the whites, sharp, and the comp looks fine to me. How are you enjoying the bush. Im off to Kruger on friday for 5 days. ;)
Beautiful photo, Dumay! As already said by Richard and Stuart, you nailed the techs and the wing pose is very nice. I like the tight crop, but that is my general preference for most images, and especially when the background consists of nothing but blue sky.
John
Dumay, nicely done with a difficult exposure. Would have been nice if the bird were in better plumage, nothing you can do about that! Hope to see more of your images here.
Good detail in the blacks as well as whites nice flying posture.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments...Stu, im loving it...Hope you have a ball at the Kruger mate and see some cool stuff
Great flight image Dumay! I like the wing position and exposure on this one.
Hi Dumay,
I really like this capture. Sharp, with nice wing positions. I would try to rebuild the broken feather-tips though. My eyes keep coming back to those feathers, but yes you can fix them quite easily. Take a look at the APTATS I & APTATS II CDs at the BAA Store. If you are not sure how to rebuild those feathers, these tutorials will show you how to do it with ease.
Liked the exposure and details.
