Nicely exposed, sharp, love the detail on the wing.
Wish the lighting was a bit more uniform on the bird, so his lower 1/3 was clearly seen.
Biggest concern is the overpowering nature of the trunk on the left. It really stops his gaze and hems him in.
Could you have moved at all to your left?

Sharp with a good EXP and a nice and much needed head turn. The large branch on the left dominates....
Nice bird sharp and I love the mottled feather pattern and colours which show up well in that light. would also prefer without the large branch.
Beautiful bird, well-captured. Agree with previous comments about techs and the non-uniform lighting.
The dominating tree trunk can be removed with a little cloning work. I would then clone out the twig from the perch, add some canvas and sky to the right, and crop to taste.
