This was a cattle egret chick who was very clumsy and was begging for food with one wing
stuck out and the other pinned behind him. He certainly looks like a "one-armed paper hanger".
I used Fractalious Impressionist for a filter and left him hanging:)
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Fantastic Cheryl! I love the high key look to this and the pose. The unusual comp works very well IMO. Maybe a teeny bit tight on the left. One of your best fracts!!:)

Thanks, Denise. I had to crop another chick on the left and left it tight so he didn't look like he would fall over:)

Hi Cheryl,
Nice work on this frac. I like the white background also. I wonder if you may be able to bring back a little sharpness to the tip of the bill or brush back in some of the original capture to bring back that sharpness.

Excellent fract work, Cheryl. I love the colors in the white bg. Good point from Andrew regarding the tip of the bill. TFS.

Super moment captured Cheryl! I really like the fract work and the high key look. +1 on a little more detail at the tip of the bill. Very nicely done!

I love the framing, the soft light and colors, and the effect. But this is an adult not a chick :) Only the adults have the orange adornment. The chicks have all white heads. And yikes, the raised wing is loverly.

Thanks everyone! And Artie, you are so right;) This was an adult who was feeding chicks (one of the chicks had his or her wing pinned down) and it was as usual a feeding frenzy. Sorry for the mis-identification:o

No problema. I have made more than a few myself :) I still love the image.
