When I was on a photo tour to the cranes in the northwest of Germany, I was creating images in the very early morning. Due to the low light I tried slow shutter speeds and I think it worked with this image?

Nice look and feel. I will create images like this and as an alternate version, I make a heavy contrast adjustment in Curves (aggressive s-curve) in Photoshop and then over sharpen it. Make for a very different, gritty look. You may like it, may not. Just something to try. You can also do a Selective Color adjustment and remove all the black from the white channel. Will make the sky bright/white for another affect.
