Beautiful pose and BG, Phil. The image has a very warm cast which may be what you were after but I would explore a slightly cooler version to see how it works. Pity that the feet are concealed. I would clean up some of the FG, especially the dark angled twig.
Phil, I liked the low angle, sharpness and the BG is terrific. I liked the pose a lot too. Pity abt that stick in the FG. Thx for sharing.
Ditto Tony, From the belly up, this is a perfect images. Sweet BKGR and light. From the feet down, not so great with the grasses and the band. Some clean-up work would be great if that fits with your personal ethics.
I admire your low angle but like Tony would like to see a cooler version of the image. The bands take some of the excitement away, and I'd clone out that OOF reddish stick and possibly the straw angling up into the owl's body.
Sweet pose light and detail. Killer BG for this bird.
Superb low angle, colours and background. Personally I would have had the frame not quite as tight around the owl. But anyway, well done!
