This is taken in my backyard. It is a set-up with a natural BG of a distant branch and sky. All C&Cs are appreciated and welcome.

I think you did a great job on this one. The sharpness, back-swept wing position, and crop are all good. The only thing that stands out to me is the harshness of the light. Maybe bring down the brightness or warm it up a bit? Nice job.

Looks like it's been busy judging by all the pollen on top of his head. Excellent job freezing the wings using natural light and I like the composition.

Jim, nice natural light hummingbird image. I like the BG and the flowers too. The light is a bit harsh, but you handled the exposure well. I wish for just a bit more space on the bottom so that the bottom left flower weren't so close to the bottom edge but that's pretty minor.

Pretty well perfect in my book...You might consider just darkening the pupil of the eye but thats more of a nit pick... very well done.

Good stuff, Jim. Lots of nice details, and colours look great. I'm with Greg for more room below - and I also would have liked as much room right of the flower as there is left of the bird. Very appealing image.

Timing of the birds posture couldn't be better, they slight motion blur in the wing tips gives it some life and dynamics.

Loved the angle and light Jim, the natural BG works very well here, great details too..
