Great Horned Owlet

In the Owl mood lately, so went into archive and found a shot from this March. Almost full frame.
500mm + 1.7TC.

Great eye contact, nice perch, and good feather detail. I particularly like the talons. I might have taken the 1.7 off to fit the whole bird in the frame.

I agree with Doug's comments. Going vertical was another option.

Thank you Robert. I do have the vertical, but I did not the perch getting cut off from the photo . I was too close.

Troy, Good suggestions already given. I like the cute pose, nice details and the talons. I would also clone out the OOF branch piece that is underneath. Fantastic eye contact.

Aside from the comments already made , I might lighten the eyes just a bit.

Nice sharpness and feather details. Like the comp and facial expression. IMG is well exposed with good bg.
