Another PB Twirl image of the lotus leaves growing by the side of the road. I just loved the colors in the leaves and the patterns in the dying leaf. And the seed pod at the end of the leaf adds a lot of interest. They were growing among cattails which are the vertical leaves and stems. Plus some grass and weeds. ;) I first used Pixel Bender Oil Paint, then Topaz Adjust and Twirl last. I couldn't bring myself to abuse it any more!

Hi Judy, I would not mind seeing some more of the abuses with all the effects you are creating :D Love the repeating pattern here but the seed pod is special. TFS.

I really like all the PB effects you've been doing. I'm undecided about the crop. The colors are -wow!

Judy, I love the colors and the patterns of the cattails. Although you'd lose the darker part at the bottom I think cropping from the bottom might look nice also.:)

Thanks Denise and Cheryl. I did crop some off the bottom in one version but it cut off the best part of the stem. I could take some off the left. Suggestions? I'll do a crop and see what you think.

Very cool! I love the curving cattails and as you mentioned the great pattern and color in the dying leaf. Just the right amount of abuse so you can still tell what it is. If you want to crop the dark area off of the bottom, maybe you could clone the cool looking part of the stem up first and then crop? But I agree that you don't want to lose that great yellow/green curvy stem part.

Thanks Patti. Cloning didn't look too easy so I didn't
