This is a little green lynx spider I found on a thistle plant in the grassland prairie in June. I used manual focus to get this abstract of it cleaning the dew from its feet.

Jim, Your composition is wonderful with the spider body coming in on a diagonal. Focus and DOF is perfect too! I don't think I've ever knowingly witnessed this behavior, but I'll be on the lookout.
Jim, I like your composition too. All the different lines through out the image add interest. I do wish that you could have included just a tiny bit more leaf in the LRC. Very carefully framed and nice work.:)
Nicely done! And very interesting behavior you captured.
Interesting behavior. I like the composition with the lines. TFS.
Jim, well done! It's really interesting (and strange:) behavior).
Interesting behavior, Jim, but the image doesn't really work for me. I think a different angle, possibly more head-on, would showcase the behavior better, and I would also prefer more DOF to get more of the legs in focus.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment everyone I really appreciate all of them!
