Pele’s Garden Storm

This image was taken on one of my first trips to the Islands and was scanned from a print. It has been viewed before in another theme week offering. This image was pushed beyond the norm, though some might say it is norm for my work! ;) To me it represents the volcanic storm that created the original image with the red lava engulfing the tree.

Modifications in CS4 included; Topaz Denoise 5, due to the scan condition; Topaz Detail, Fractalius and Shadow/Highlight, Hue/Saturation and Exposure adjustments to push it over the edge.
