I used a partial sphere from Spherize and Twirl in Pixel Bender and used the fresco filter on it. It's my version of filter abuse :D

Judy, It's awesome! I love the creativity and the way you were able to add some whimsy to this image! Very good to see you step a bit more OOTB!!:)
Nice Judy! Really good interpretation of the theme and I love this concept. Good show!
Awesome use of the fresco filter and I love the way you've bent the moon! There are a few "clouds" at the base of the moon that I think I'd consider evicting just because they are so small and look more like blotches than clouds. Everything else is over the top awesome!
Thanks everybody! Julie I'll try to remove the small clouds later...
Nice image and application, Judy.
Like the shapes and the flow of the birds.;)
Judy, love this composition and your interpretation of this week's theme. Great use of filters. TFS.
Judy, very creative. I like the shapes and your use of the fresco filter.
Thanks Mark. I liked the way they flowed too.
Thanks Cheryl. That's the only image I've used fresco on that worked! (There must be a special technique for using it correctly for most images. I tried it on the twirled cormorants without the Spherize added and it looked awful.)
Filter abuse it may be, but the results are really special. Lovely.
Judy, exciting vision and unique result. Excellent!
