We were able to get away for a day and visit Merritt Island, during the off season, this past week and the winds were about 35mph. The refuge was closed as they were doing maintenance grading of the roads. However, the gulls and vultures were having a great time riding the shore breeze at the Canaveral National Seashore. While the rest of the trip was light, this offered some interesting shots.
This image was slightly modified in CS4 with Accent Edges and other normal adjustments. Nothing like the norm from me, but hope you enjoy none the less.

Mark, I like the pano crop and the water colors are lovely. I do wish the bird were flying towards us but your vision your view- Anyway I might tone down the tail just a bit if it were mine. Something different for you for sure.:)

Beautiful colors, Mark and I really like the pano crop. The mat and frame really compliment it.:)

I also like the pano crop and I love the seascape in the background. I find the accent edges a little harsh, but overall I think the image has worked nicely.
