Man, that is one skinny bird. With a long tail. As low as you are, lower would have been better; were you handholding? (It seems that if you had been able to put the lens right on the ground that you would not have the white/green line merging with the belly and could have placed most of the bird against green. You did relatively well with the harsh light but the deep-set eye is in shadow. Lots of flash, say at zero might have provided light on the eye as well as a highlight.

Eric, Great critique by Artie. I like the way you were able to keep the green line well below the head. It sure is a skinny bird as Artie pointed out. I like these guys and don't have many chances with them-so I'm glad you were able to take advantage of this opportunity. Looking forward to more.:)
