I added multiple layers and a zoom blur in post processing. I also added a little fract. I left the colors a bit vibrant, I thought it added to the whimsy.
The true colors of the crab are more red.

I love it! The colors are perfect. I am not quite sure how you do that stacking effect.
Judy, Thank you for your kind comments. This effect will be covered in depth in the blur guide. I'm basically just stacking the layers, rotating them and I added a zoom to it.
Denise, I like the colors a lot (you know I like color!) and the zoom effect is very well done. Those eyes are hypnotic! If it were mine I would eliminate that patch of gray in the lower left (and another little bit to the right of that) by making it green. That would really take this one out of the park.
Thanks Kerry, I don't mind the patches of grey -I feel they break up the green a bit .
Too much fun, I really like it Denise. Whimsical it is:)
This is too good. I love the legs the best. So many legs. And the colors are loverly. I hope to be able to learn to do this to the right image one day :)
This is wonderful, Denise! Love the zoom effect and the bright, whimsical colors. I might have placed the crab a little lower in the frame, but that's just my opinion.
Jackie, Artie and Christopher, Thank you all very much.:)
This is way cool, D! Like the crop as well. Can't wait for the Blur Guide to finally come out.
Rest assured. It will expedite the release... I did a 916 page book with InDesign but that was years ago and my memory ain't such good....
THANKS!
this is incredibly beautiful , great work TFS
