I've been too busy to get out and take any pictures and I had really been looking forward to this week's theme. This is a captive owl (taken last year) that I used a radial zoom blur layer, masked the eyes and beak back in and a slight bit of the feathers. Then I used Fractalius Soft Crayon and blended with Luminosity. I would have liked for the eyes to have been brighter but I went back to the original and that's the way they were.
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated:)

Nice job processing this blur Cheryl. I like the colors and the comp. I think that fractalius offered a little something to the image. Maybe tone down the small bright spot by mouth. Nicely done.

Beautiful image, Cheryl. Excellent post-processing with the zoom blur and frac work. I love the brown color tones and would just tone down the one spot that Denise mentioned. Well done!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I didn't check for clipping after using Fractalius. Here's a repost with the bright spot toned down.:)

Cheryl, nice use of the filter. It worked well on this one. I like the colors and the repost looks much better. The little bit of frac is super!
