I had a few minutes at work today so I grabbed a section of a couple of crossed flower stems from a gerbera daisy image and started to play around with them. I flipped the section horizontally, then flipped that image vertically. I then imposed a macro of a lily petal vertically and horizontally over the geometric shape of the stems and changed those two layers to the exclusion blend mode. All of a sudden, I had art!

Too creative for me but a wonderful pattern plus the colors go together beautifully to create a soft, peaceful mood.

Jules, I love the color and the lines. Might also be cool to add a lower opacity layer turned a bit in the BG. Not that it isn't lovely as presented but just to give another option for this look to others.

Like the graphic yet organic quality to this one Jules. Would love to see a bunch of them tiled together.

Thanks everyone. I am going to continue playing with it now that I see it seems a bit "empty." Appreciate all the feedback.

Like having your own kaleidoscope Jules. Definitely addicting and like it with less empty space, like the colour scheme too.
