Kerry, Very appropriate for the theme. I like the framing and the lighting. Nicely seen.
Nice image and application, Kerry.
Nice capture.
I might crop it, if it were mine, to eliminate the bottom branches (at the visible junction point) and increase the size of the subject a little. But ... you know what they say! ;) :D
Such an unusual image, Kerry. I, too, think some of the bottom could be eliminated. Although this is very dark overall I do like the feeling it brings to the image. If the blue of the df weren't so intense I think this might be a washout but, as is, it's actually quite strong. Nicely seen.
Love it as presented. Love the blue of the damsel fly better than the greenish tinge to the web. Is the latter natural? A bit off of the top and the right > a perfect upper right thirds composition that would likely be a bit more striking. But I do love this one.
Very dramatic w/ the black BG Kerry. Think it is a great image for OOTB.
Thank you all so much for your comments, they are greatly appreciated! Artie, I think the green/yellow color is natural, but has been boosted quite a bit in this process. This location was dense forest and the light was very filtered and green.
Kerry, this is very dramatic. It reminds me of a dreamcatcher:)
