I haven't played with fract for a while and had posted the original of this image in macro/floral. The concensus there was that a higher shooting angle would have helped. So, do we feel the same would be true after the alterations? Just curious. I personally wish I had been higher, but also feel the Fract has helped the image a lot. The original can be viewed here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...read.php?66728
Thanks for any thoughts.

Hi Dave, while it would be nice to see more of the inner part of the flower I think the fract work makes for a nice image. I like the contrast between the flower and the bg. I might do some cloning in the bg to eliminate those brighter areas on the left and right.

I like the frac work Dave, and agree a nicer angle might have been better to just to eliminate the FG greenery. But I like the flower. Just my thoughts.

Thanks Kerry and Jackie. I value both of your opinions as I am a fan of the work from both of you. I had left the areas behind the lily as they were because I was afraid the lily might look as if it were just floating in space. i will however take a good look at the suggested cloning, or even just tone it down a bit. Never hurts to try, Right? Thanks again
