Currently I got Canon 40D with firmware 1.0.3 I want to upgrade the firmware but don’t know how to do it. I will appreciate if some one helps me with the following questions
1 suppose if currently the firm ware version available online is 1.0.8 and mine is 1.0.3 do I have to upgrade gradually from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4, …. And so on till 1.0.8 or I can directly move to 1.0.8 and will get the benefit of all the in between versions?
2 what is the procedure to download them and can some one provide me the link to download them?
You help in this regard is much appreciated.:)
Thanks
Vikrant
I've never upgraded my 40D and show 1.0.8 showing as my firmware when I open my pics in PHOTO ME.

I upgraded my 40D firmware and regretted it. Eventually reinstaled the legacy version. Moreover, I was told to upgrade only if needed - just my opinion.
