I posted the original image that I started with in Avian. I added the fractalius filter and masked back in some details. Not my usual settings, I was trying something new. I went with a bit off the top for this version since there was no color or interest in the top.
I can hardly tell you used the Frac filter at all Denise. The comp is great with the chick looking over at the other two eggs, and I like the hint of colour in the sky.
Beautiful soft, high-key look, Denise. The composition is just awesome with the chick and eggs perfectly placed. Well done! :)
As always, this is wonderful.
I think the light background is a great compliment to the foreground mottling. Simple color schemes, for me, are more dramatic.
Love the expression and eye contact of the chick with the one egg and the mostly buried egg (nice touch to create a odd numbered composition).
