Another in the water drop series from my day with Susan Candelario. The timing on this was changed to get floaters......bonus was the starburst from one of the flashes! It's too nice here in NJ right now to play around with these.....but we have some big ideas for water drops in the next few months! All in camera....3 flashes bounced off gold paper and red gel over 1 of the flashes. Clean up of some highlights in post.

Sweet! I love the mid-air drop and the starburst couldn't have been painted on in a better spot. The off-centered comp. is nice.:)

That's awesome!!! What a fantastic image. That starburst just puts this on another level. Sweet!! Would love to see a "work session" photo of this technique. Don't have any of the gear required, but would love to see the setup!

For me, the sharpness of the drop and the wonderful golden tone really make this photo stand out from other water drop photos. As mentioned before, the starburst is also a wonderful bonus. Cool to see!
