I did a find edges filter on this image of a Piping Plover chick that I photographed last night -my first:) I added some sandstone texture to the sand and masked back in some details. I should have been more careful to mask out the BG I am looking at it now and seeing some of the remnants from the find edges filter.

Too cute, Denise! :) Like the high-key look and the textured sand grounding the image. I might lighten the shadows around the chick's eye a bit.

How cute is that?! Really love the high-key effect and the way the little chick blends with the BG. Agree with Christopher regarding the eye area. Lovely!

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. That isn't a shadow it's the chicks coloring but I could lighten it.

Ok ..I'll go with it, cute little guy. Really like what you've done with this image, high key, sand..this should be in a frame...

I love these little chicks. Reminds me of the chick-siting I did for these little guys two years ago. (They are endangered up here). Too cute D!

Denise, I love the high key effect and the sandstone texture. He really looks very vulnerable doesn't he?:)
