I have admired many pictures in this section and wish to expand my BIF photos and to create something more artful. I sometimes do not know if something is good or that I am going in the right direction. I admired the low-key affects shown earlier, but I am offering a high-key from Ding Darling to get comments to help shape my thinking. At times I use my friends for judgement but they can be too kind at times and I do not get what is needed. Thanks in advance for a wonderful and informative group.

Hi Matthew, Big welcome to OOTB. Nice first post here. I wish the wing tip were not touching the frame. I also see a slight color cast which I would eliminate from the wing bottoms and the neck. The head merging w/wing is not ideal. The harsh side lighting is difficult. Nice high-key BG and the overall IQ is nice. You have nice details in the face and eye and the one wing. Nicely done.:)

Thanks Denise for your time. I did make the frame change and took out the cast. I did not see the cast before. My wife said the same about the head and wing. I will try another day for a shot that will work better.

Hi Matthew and welcome to OOTB! Thanks for posting and joining us here.
Denise covered the tech stuff and the high key effect is well done! I like your composition with the nice curve of the wings relative to the body and legs. Look forward to seeing more! :)
