Here's another sunshiny flower, a calendula this time. I applied radial blur, masking it off the flower center. I also added a blur overlay and a light yellow vignette. Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Nice image and application, Christopher.
I might remove or clarify the dark area in the center of the bloom. Also the Cyan tint on the top is a little strong, compared to the other similar cyan area. I might lighten it a bit.
But ... your image ... your vision.
Christopher, I really like the softness and slight blur created here. It gives it some interest. I do like the center of the flower. Seems right to me. I'm thinking just a tiny crop off the top, about half way between the dark petal and the edge might look nice. Lovely effect!
Another nice composition, Christopher. Love the center a bit darker althogh it could go either way, IMHO. Another option would be to add a tiny vignette which probably would keep the focus on the center and not take it away to lighter edges.
Christopher, I love this as presented - the centre seems just right to me. I love the softness and the water droplets as well :)
Christopher, the water droplets really add an interesting effect. I love the colors:)
Thanks everyone. I appreciate the comments and suggestions.
Like all the dew drops and the randomness of the petals. Wonder what the shot would have looked like if the flower had been tilted slightly upwards. My .04. Just my suggestion, none of which you have to take:)
Thanks Jackie. Now that you mention it, I think tilting the flower up a tiny bit might have been nice, but I didn't think of that when I took it. Oh well. :)
