I took this image of an orange Celosia bloom this morning. I added some saturation and curves adj.
In-camera soft focus technique to get a painterly feel.
Beautiful oranges and nice lines for this abstract, Denise. Just enough saturation, I think. I do like the effect achieved with the soft focus, but I might crop just a little off the top or remove those two darker spots at the top.
Denise, That's awesome! I love that blast of orange and I really like the way the main stem curves through the image.

Denise, the colors and motion are fantastic:) It looks like flames.
Maybe just a touch off the top. Great motion as mentioned. If it were mine I might try added more blacks to the neutrals. Just NIDA:)
