Theme Winners!

Boy, it doesn't get any easier to pick winners here! You folks really do some amazing work!! :D The hot seat gets hotter every week. :eek:

Here are my picks for the week - five places this time!

First place - Calla Lily Twirl by Cindy Cone - Love the sense of motion, colors, composition and style of this one. To my eye, this is evocative of a bird in flight! Congratulations Cindy!!

Second place - Vintage Rose by Christopher Miller - Super job on this one Christopher! Hard to pick from all of your lovely images, but this one stands out for me. Love the textures and vintage look in general. Excellent!

Third place - Natural swirl by Ken Childs - The colors and movement in this are really set off by the black frame. Should be in a coffee table book. Love the way the eye is drawn into the center of the flower. Nice work Ken!

Fourth place - Iris by Nicki Gwynn Jones - Lovely abstract look but with enough recognizable elements to let the viewer know that they are looking at a flower. Nice soft colors and strong composition. Good show Nicki!

Fifth place - Radiating lily by Indranil Sircar - Really nice first go at Fractalius! Love the colors against the black background and the restrained application of the filter. Very nice Indranil!

Thank you Kerry for judging and congratulations to all the winners and participants. I have not had much time off-late to participate but did manage to sneak in from time to time to see some of the amazing images! I echo Christopher that it must be tough to judge from among such outstanding images.
