Last year, I discovered this iris growing next to one of the two vernal ponds on our property. I cloned out two buds and leaves in order to create a clean shot of just the flower. I applied four of my textures to this, one of which I used as a vignette much like I did on my recent rose image. Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Christopher, You are getting way to good at these!! I like the color combo and the natural feel that you were able to capture in the Iris. Nice textures added.

looks like a pastel love the texture work you did. Maybe add more canvas on the left.

Gorgeous. Great use of textures. Cloning out the buds and leaves was a good idea--leaving a clean image. I like the angle of the stem and how it emerges from the textured BG.

Simply beautiful, Christopher! The textures are wonderful. I like the simplicity of the composition and just enough detail in the iris.

Nice image and application, Christopher.
I agree with Michael, but would also offset it with some additional canvas on the right. I like the placement in the frame, but think the LB is a little tight.
But nice image and effects.

Thanks a lot, everyone! Appreciate all your comments. :)
Michael and Mark, I do have a tiny bit more room on the left that I could add back in, but I chose to crop it where I did because I wanted to keep the stem relatively close to the middle and I felt a strong vertical best suits the flower. Thanks very much for the suggestion though.
