Anyone interested in trying this technique Jules has written a very nice tutorial to get you started. You can add your own custom tone as I have by experimenting. This tutorial is very easy to follow. Once you master it you can move on to tritone images.

Like the tone and feel of the movement of the image elements.
I might have lowered the bud slightly, in the image, as the eye is drawn up to the dark area and I find the top is therefore a little tight. But nice image as is and as we like to say ... your image ... your vision.
I like the composition with the bud high in the frame. The color toning is very well done.
